Calculators

Measuring tools for giant growers.

Measure, estimate, track growth: simple tools to support your crops, from sowing to the weigh-off. More calculators will be added season after season.

Measuring chart

Estimate your pumpkin’s weight.

The OTT (Over The Top) method estimates a pumpkin’s weight without moving it, from three tape measurements taken over the fruit. It is the method used at weigh-offs to track growth between two weighings.

Unit of measurement

Around the fruit, parallel to the ground, at stem height.

Ground to ground, over the fruit, from the stem to the blossom end.

Ground to ground, perpendicular to the previous one, at the widest point.

OTT total—
Estimated weight—

Fill in all three measurements to get the estimate.
